Key Responsibilities
- Ensure excellent customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and issues, proactively communicating, and finding innovative solutions to challenges.
- Thoroughly inspect every vehicle prior to parking, documenting any observed conditions.
- Clearly communicate valet service rates to customers.
- Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and safe driving standards at all times.
- Report incidents such as accidents, safety concerns, unusual situations, and policy infractions to supervisory staff.
- Possess strong knowledge of local major roads, landmarks, and highways to facilitate smooth transportation for clients.
- Maintain punctuality and professionalism by arriving in a clean uniform, ready to work for every scheduled shift, and remain in uniform throughout the shift.
- Support management with additional assignments as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Hold a valid state driver’s license with a current address and a driving record deemed acceptable.
- Ability to operate vehicles with manual transmissions is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work non-standard shifts including evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.
- Provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States if hired.
- Communicate accurately and professionally with customers and colleagues, managing customer complaints effectively.
- Basic arithmetic skills including reading, writing, and handling U.S. currency, and comprehension of instructions, emails, and memos.
- Capable of following both verbal and written directives and adapting calmly to changes, delays, or unforeseen circumstances during work.
Physical Requirements
The role requires frequent standing, walking, and manual dexterity for handling cash and equipment. Occasionally, the position involves sitting, climbing, balancing, and lifting or moving objects up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations can be provided to qualified individuals with disabilities.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range for this position is $15 to $16, with additional tipping opportunities. Eligible employees may participate in comprehensive benefits plans, including medical, dental, vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, life and accident insurance, long and short-term disability coverage, 401(k) retirement plans, and paid time off.
