Valet Attendant

About the Role

The Valet Attendant will be responsible for welcoming guests upon their arrival and providing assistance by safely unloading their belongings. They will ensure timely delivery of laundry and clothing to guest rooms while adhering to high standards of guest service. This position demands flexibility with work hours, prompt response to guest requests, and maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of laundry and dry cleaning items.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with unloading items securely.
• Deliver laundry and garments to guestrooms in a timely manner.
• Respond quickly to guest requests, coordination with Front Desk and service teams.
• Maintain proper handling by accurately completing all valet tickets.
• Arrange for repairs by liaising with appropriate personnel and ensure pick-up/drop-off of items when done.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, maintain professional appearance and respect confidentiality of company information.
• Communicate clearly and professionally in person, over phone, and through written documents.
• Foster positive workplace relationships and contribute to team objectives.
• Comply with quality standards and perform physical tasks like reaching, bending, twisting, lifting up to 10 pounds, standing or walking for long periods.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum education of high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a similar role.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific licenses or certifications needed.
