Position Overview

The Luxury Collection is seeking a Hostess to warmly welcome and seat guests in a luxurious dining environment. The role involves managing the seating of guests by escorting them to clean and available tables, ensuring proper place settings, and maintaining cleanliness and order in the dining area. This position requires a commitment to upholding excellent service standards and enhancing guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and ascertain the size of their party promptly.
• Escort guests to appropriate tables, assist with chairs, and provide menus.
• Arrange tables and chairs to accommodate special group requirements.
• Verify that place settings are complete with clean napkins, silverware, and other essentials.
• Ensure menus are current, spotless, and plentiful throughout service.
• Maintain tidiness of work stations continuously using clean-as-you-go practices.
• Monitor dining room for availability, safety, and guest well-being.
• Adhere to all safety and security protocols, report incidents promptly, and complete required safety trainings.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct, maintain confidentiality, and safeguard company property.
• Communicate professionally, including telephone etiquette, and foster cooperative teamwork to meet shared goals.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, and moving objects up to 10 pounds as needed.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• No prior work or supervisory experience required.
• No professional licenses or certifications necessary.

Work Schedule

The role operates on a 4 days on / 4 days off shift cycle, with each shift lasting 12 hours from 19:30 to 07:30.
