Role Purpose
The Technology Analyst - PMO plays a strategic role enhancing how Engineering teams plan, track, measure, and deliver work within a fast-paced SaaS environment. This is not traditional status reporting but involves integrating delivery data into actionable insights that improve workflows, metrics, tooling, and executive reporting, directly supporting Engineering and Product leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze planning and delivery: assess team alignment with goals, identify execution risks and dependencies, evaluate delivery predictability, and highlight bottlenecks.
- Support quarterly and annual planning by analyzing demand, capacity, and forecasts, aiding prioritization, risk assessment, and decision-making.
- Develop and manage delivery metrics and operational intelligence, including throughput, predictability, cycle times, portfolio dashboards, and executive reports.
- Enhance Engineering tools such as Jira and Confluence by standardizing workflows, improving data quality, promoting governance, and ensuring tooling reflects real team practices.
- Champion continuous improvement by refining intake processes, planning cadences, reporting standards, governance, and delivery transparency.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in PMO, Portfolio Operations, Engineering Operations, Delivery Analytics, Technical Program Support, or Agile Planning within SaaS or software environments.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Jira Product Discovery), Jellyfish, CI/CD and DevOps platforms, and Google Workspace.
- Competence in data analysis, dashboard creation, executive presentation, process improvements, cross-functional facilitation, and portfolio/roadmap oversight.
- No formal degree is required; emphasis is on practical experience, analytical skills, curiosity, and process optimization ability.
