Role Overview

We are seeking a Technology Analyst - PMO to enhance how our Engineering teams plan, track, measure, and deliver projects within a fast-paced SaaS environment. This role extends beyond traditional PMO duties, combining engineering delivery oversight, operational analytics, strategy development, tooling optimization, process enhancement, and executive-level reporting.

You will collaborate closely with Engineering and Product leaders to increase transparency, streamline operations, develop meaningful metrics, and establish scalable practices that help teams succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and provide insights on engineering delivery data to answer critical questions about team alignment, emerging risks, dependencies, delivery predictability, and bottlenecks.
  • Support quarterly and annual planning by examining demand, capacity, forecasts, prioritizing initiatives, identifying portfolio risks, and advising on delivery improvements.
  • Define and develop delivery health and effectiveness metrics, including throughput, predictability, cycle time, flow, and portfolio dashboards, while delivering executive reporting and operational storytelling.
  • Optimize engineering tooling primarily within the Atlassian ecosystem by improving Jira and Confluence workflows, standardizing data and reporting models, enhancing dashboard consistency, supporting governance, and aligning tools with team practices.
  • Partner with IT, Product, and Engineering to remove operational friction and improve clarity.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by reassessing work intake, planning cadences, reporting methods, portfolio governance, and delivery visibility to enhance organizational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in PMO, portfolio operations, engineering operations, technical program support, delivery analytics, or agile planning within software engineering or SaaS contexts.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Jira Product Discovery, Confluence, Jellyfish, CI/CD, DevOps tooling, and Google Workspace.
  • Additional desirable skills include data analysis and visualization, dashboard creation, executive presentation design, workflow and process optimization, cross-functional facilitation, and portfolio and roadmap reporting.
  • No specific degree required; emphasis is on practical experience, analytical mindset, curiosity, and operational improvement abilities.

Personal Attributes

  • Accountability: Taking ownership and ensuring alignment on outcomes.
  • Resourcefulness: Simplifying complexity and enhancing workflows despite constraints.
  • Collaboration and Influence: Communicating clearly and aligning teams positively without relying on authority.
  • Change Leadership: Comfort with evolving processes and tools within dynamic environments.

Why Join

This position offers a unique chance to shape engineering planning and governance in a modern SaaS company. You will influence strategic planning, improve operational transparency at scale, and foster smarter data-driven workflows, directly impacting delivery performance rather than merely tracking it.
