Role Overview
As a Technology Analyst – PMO, you will play a critical role in enhancing how Engineering plans, monitors, measures, and delivers work within a dynamic SaaS environment. This position transcends conventional PMO duties by combining engineering delivery insight, operational analytics, strategic planning, tool management, and process optimization to boost organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve engineering delivery by answering strategic questions about team alignment, risks, dependencies, predictability, and bottlenecks.
- Support quarterly and annual planning by assessing demand, capacity, forecasts, and priorities to identify risks and improve decision-making.
- Define and measure engineering effectiveness through metrics such as throughput, delivery health, cycle time, and flow, and develop portfolio dashboards and executive reports.
- Enhance delivery tooling and data integrity, including optimizing Jira and Confluence workflows, standardizing data and reporting models, improving dashboards, and ensuring governance.
- Collaborate with IT, Product, and Engineering teams to reduce friction and elevate operational clarity.
- Identify and lead continuous improvements in work intake, planning cadences, reporting, portfolio governance, and delivery visibility.
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Background in PMO operations, engineering operations, technical program support, delivery analytics, agile planning, or software/SaaS engineering.
- Proficiency with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Jira Product Discovery, and Confluence; familiarity with Jellyfish, CI/CD, DevOps tools, and Google Workspace.
- Capability in data analysis, visualization, dashboard creation, executive-level presentation, workflow optimization, cross-functional collaboration, and portfolio reporting.
