Your Role

As the Tech Lead for AWS Integration Services, you will spearhead the design, architecture, and delivery of cloud-native integration solutions built on AWS technologies. Your leadership will guide the creation of seamless integration across enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and third-party services through strategic APIs, event-driven architectures, and workflow orchestration frameworks. You will blend your hands-on engineering skills with strategic direction to uphold standards, ensure security, scalability, and resilience, and promote enterprise architectural alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Steer development and maintenance of AWS integration components such as Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, and DynamoDB.
  • Champion the adoption of event-driven architectures and microservices integration patterns.
  • Establish best practices in API lifecycle management, service orchestration, and asynchronous integrations.
  • Set standards for CI/CD processes, deployment methods, release workflows, and operational governance.
  • Ensure all integration services comply with security, compliance, and auditing mandates.
  • Mentor and support integration engineers in AWS technologies and integration methodologies.
  • Provide coaching through design, development, testing, and production support phases.
  • Promote knowledge sharing, technical growth, and engineering excellence in the integration community.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Over 8 years of experience in Integration, API Management, and Enterprise Application Integration.
  • Strong background in designing and deploying AI-enhanced integration solutions on AWS leveraging services such as Amazon Bedrock, Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, Step Functions, and vector databases.
  • Proficient in Python and Go programming languages, with a minimum of three years’ experience in Go.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership on cross-team and large-scale integration projects.
  • Experience working with Event-Driven Architecture, Microservices, Serverless platforms, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps best practices.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise integration governance, including standards and API lifecycle management.
  • Practical use of AI-assisted tools such as Claude, CoPilot, and ChatGPT.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and effective communication skills.
  • Experience with cloud monitoring, observability, and operations tools including AWS CloudWatch.
  • Academic background including a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
