About the Role
Join Woolworths Group as a Team Manager within the Proactive Services team, where you will oversee the upkeep of store environments to ensure they remain hygienically clean and customer-friendly. This is a full-time position requiring flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, days, late nights, and weekends. You'll engage directly with your team across multiple stores, inspiring and motivating them to deliver their best each day.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team responsible for cleaning, trolley collection, and waste management tasks.
- Develop and manage rosters to guarantee complete coverage of daily operations and activities.
- Collaborate with Store Leadership teams to identify challenges, opportunities, and prioritize initiatives.
- Handle time and attendance tracking, absence management, and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Manage ordering and inventory of consumables such as cleaning supplies within a set budget.
- Participate actively in operational tasks alongside your team to maintain seamless daily store functions.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a driven and ambitious attitude with an enthusiasm for retail and team leadership.
- Adaptable to various work environments, including shop floors, refrigerated areas, and outdoor car parks.
- Detail-oriented with a keen sense of cleanliness standards.
- Physically fit to perform labor-intensive duties.
- Skilled in coordinating with other department and store managers to optimize routines and timeframes.
- Organized to ensure team members have necessary equipment and supplies for safe and efficient work.
- Experience or comfort working under regulatory frameworks such as food safety standards and industrial codes of conduct.
- Hold a valid full Australian driver’s licence (minimum green P’s), as trolley collection may require driving company vehicles.
Working Hours
Example schedule includes shifts such as Sunday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, accommodating variable start and end times across the week.
