General Overview

The Task Associate plays a key role in achieving operational excellence that supports store sales goals and ensures a delightful experience for guests. This role involves maintaining stocked fixtures, upholding cleanliness standards, and completing assigned tasks. The associate supports the Merchandise and Operations Managers by focusing on performance metrics, teamwork, and adherence to company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Help meet or surpass retail sales objectives by executing assigned tasks efficiently and ensuring product availability.
• Achieve compliance targets related to task completion, shipment and replenishment processes, merchandise setups, and inventory procedures.
• Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Foster an inclusive environment supportive of teammates and guests.
• Engage regularly in training programs, including brand and category education, to enhance skills and sales results.
• Follow all Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, standards, and dress code requirements.
• Perform merchandise resets, planogram maintenance, marketing displays, inventory counts, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
• Ensure assigned work areas are replenished, properly signed, and merchandise is nicely presented with testers available.
• Maintain high store standards including salesfloor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break areas.
• Protect company assets by adhering to loss prevention policies and delivering excellent guest service.
• Complete other operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• At least one year of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Comfort with basic technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Working Conditions

• Continuous movement throughout the store during shifts.
• Frequent standing, bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
• Regular lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds.
• Continuous use and coordination of hands and fingers during tasks.
