Role Overview

The Task Associate plays a key role in operational excellence supporting sales efforts by ensuring merchandise availability, maintaining cleanliness, and completing various assigned tasks. Reporting to Merchandise and Operations Managers, the associate focuses on performance metrics, effective teamwork, and adherence to processes and compliance standards. Attention to detail and strict compliance with procedures are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support store retail goals by executing assigned tasks and ensuring products remain available for customers.
  • Achieve compliance with operational metrics through timely completion of processes like shipments, replenishment, inventory counts, and merchandise resets.
  • Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
  • Foster an inclusive atmosphere among teammates and guests.
  • Engage in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, dress code, and standards.
  • Execute merchandise displays, planograms, marketing setups, and manage physical inventory using company technology and best practices.
  • Keep assigned areas stocked, well-signed, orderly, and ensure testers are accessible.
  • Maintain exemplary store cleanliness throughout salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break areas.
  • Safeguard company assets by applying loss prevention measures and offering outstanding customer service.
  • Perform additional operational duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • At least one year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with basic technology, such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight, and holidays.

Working Conditions

  • Continuous movement throughout the store during shifts.
  • Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting movements.
  • Regular lifting, carrying, or moving items up to 25 pounds.
  • Ongoing manual coordination with objects during the shift.
  • Reasonable accommodations considered for associates with disabilities to enable performance of essential job functions.
