Role Overview

The Task Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence that underpins sales success and delivers exceptional experiences for every guest at Ulta Beauty. This role involves stocking merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing various operational tasks under the guidance of the Merchandise and Operations Managers. Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to procedures are required.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the achievement of store retail targets by efficiently completing assigned tasks and ensuring product availability.
• Adhere to compliance and execute operational processes promptly, including shipment handling, merchandise replenishment, inventory counting, and task dashboard goals.
• Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
• Foster an inclusive atmosphere supporting teammates, peers, and guests.
• Engage in ongoing training covering brand and category knowledge to promote professional growth and enhance sales.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and standards rigorously.
• Comply with the company dress code.
• Conduct merchandise resets, implement planograms, manage marketing displays, handle inventory, and use company technology effectively.
• Maintain assigned work areas fully stocked, signed, and organized, ensuring testers are available.
• Uphold the highest standards of store cleanliness throughout salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break areas.
• Protect company assets by practicing loss prevention and delivering excellent guest services.
• Perform additional operational tasks as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Recommended: At least one year of relevant work experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Proficient with basic technologies, including Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.

Work Conditions and Special Requirements

• Flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Physically demanding role involving constant movement throughout the store, frequent standing, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs, pushing, pulling, and reaching.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $15 to $20 based on qualifications, experience, shift, location, and other factors. Full-time employees are eligible for paid time off and comprehensive health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits. Part-time team members qualify for selected benefits including dental, vision, life, and disability coverage. Overtime pay is provided as required by law.
