Role Overview

The Task Associate is dedicated to operational excellence, supporting sales drivers that create outstanding experiences for Ulta Beauty customers. Responsibilities encompass maintaining merchandise stock, ensuring store cleanliness, and executing assigned tasks. The role supports management by focusing on operational metrics, teammate and guest relations, and adherence to company policies and procedures. Attention to detail and strict compliance with procedures are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Help achieve or surpass store retail objectives by ensuring tasks are completed and products remain available for customers.
• Meet compliance and execution targets related to task dashboards, including timely completion of operations like shipment processing, replenishment, merchandise setups, and inventory management.
• Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
• Foster an inclusive environment that supports colleagues and guests.
• Engage continually in training programs covering brand and category knowledge to support ongoing professional growth and improve sales results.
• Follow and enforce Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, dress code, and standards.
• Execute merchandise resets, planogram implementations, marketing displays, physical inventory tasks, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
• Ensure assigned work zones are replenished, properly marked, and well presented, including tester availability.
• Keep the entire store, including sales floor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break areas clean and orderly.
• Implement loss prevention procedures and provide exemplary guest service to protect company assets.
• Carry out additional operational duties as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Minimum of one year relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Proficiency with basic technology tools, such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Capability to work independently and collaborate well within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.

Working Conditions

• Continuous movement throughout the store during shifts.
• Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting.
• Regular lifting, carrying, and moving items up to 25 pounds.
• Constant coordination and manipulation of objects.
