Role Overview

The Task Associate plays a crucial role in supporting store operations to enhance sales and deliver an outstanding customer experience. Key responsibilities include stocking merchandise fixtures, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned operational tasks. The position directly assists the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager by focusing on performance metrics, teamwork, and adherence to procedures and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Help achieve or surpass retail targets by ensuring all assigned tasks are completed and products are readily available for customers.
• Comply with operational standards by completing tasks related to inventory shipments, replenishment, merchandise setups, and inventory counts promptly.
• Attend work consistently and punctually.
• Promote an inclusive atmosphere supportive of colleagues and customers alike.
• Engage in ongoing training programs, including brand and category education, to support continuous professional growth and sales effectiveness.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and standards, including dress code adherence.
• Perform merchandise resets, organize planograms and marketing displays, carry out physical inventory processes, and manage shipment processing through Ulta Beauty's technology systems.
• Maintain assigned areas fully stocked, neatly signed, well-organized, and ensure availability of product testers.
• Uphold high standards of store cleanliness across all areas, including sales floor, restrooms, payment counters, backrooms, and staff areas.
• Safeguard company assets by implementing loss prevention measures and delivering exceptional guest service.
• Perform additional operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Preferred minimum education: high school diploma.
• Preferred experience: at least one year in a related position or equivalent in education and experience.
• Basic technology proficiency, including experience using Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Work Conditions and Requirements

• Flexible scheduling required, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Physical demands involve continuous movement around the store, frequent standing, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, twisting, and handling objects.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
