Role Overview

The Task Associate is integral in ensuring operational excellence that supports sales objectives and an exceptional guest experience. The role involves maintaining stocked fixtures, store cleanliness, and timely task completion, all while assisting Merchandise and Operations Managers. Success in this position hinges on attention to detail and adherence to processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Support meeting and surpassing retail store goals by completing assigned tasks and ensuring product availability.
• Achieve compliance and execution objectives involving task dashboards, shipments, replenishment, merchandise setups, and inventory processes.
• Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
• Foster an inclusive atmosphere that supports teammates and guests alike.
• Engage in ongoing training including brand and category education to enhance professional growth and sales impact.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
• Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventories, and process shipments utilizing Ulta Beauty’s technology and procedures.
• Promote operational excellence by maintaining replenished, well-signed, and organized work areas with available testers.
• Keep the sales floor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break areas clean and up to company standards.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and delivering exceptional guest service.
• Perform additional operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• At least one year of relevant work experience or equivalent education combined with experience preferred.
• Proficiency with basic technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.

Working Conditions

• Frequent movement throughout the store during shifts.
• Regular standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting.
• Lifting and carrying objects up to 25 pounds frequently.
• Ongoing coordination and manipulation of objects during the work shift.
