Role Summary

The Task Associate (TA) plays a crucial role in operational excellence supporting sales drivers that create memorable experiences for all guests. This is achieved by managing inventory displays, maintaining store cleanliness, and efficiently completing assigned operational tasks. The TA supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager by focusing on performance metrics, team collaboration, and adherence to processes and compliance standards, requiring strong attention to detail and process adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Help achieve or surpass store retail targets by ensuring that all assigned tasks are completed and products remain available for customers.
• Fulfill compliance and execution goals by completing operational procedures such as shipments, replenishments, merchandise setups, inventory counts, and related tasks promptly.
• Maintain consistent and timely attendance.
• Foster an inclusive workplace supporting colleagues and guests alike.
• Engage regularly in ongoing training programs covering brand knowledge and category education to enhance professional growth and boost sales.
• Follow all Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and standards diligently, including dress code adherence.
• Execute merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, inventory audits, and shipment processing through company technologies and best practices.
• Maintain organized work areas by replenishing, signing, and facing merchandise and ensuring testers are available.
• Uphold high store standards including cleanliness of sales floors, restrooms, cash wrap, backrooms, and break areas.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention protocols and delivering excellent guest service.
• Carry out additional operational assignments as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma preferred.
• At least one year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with basic technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Ability to operate independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions and Requirements

• Must be available to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnight, and holidays.
• Role requires continuous movement throughout the store during shifts, including frequent standing, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, twisting.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 25 lbs frequently.
• Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects required.
