Role Summary

The Task Associate (TA) plays a crucial role in supporting operational excellence that drives sales and ensures an outstanding experience for every guest. Responsibilities include stocking fixtures, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing various assigned duties. The TA works closely with the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager, focusing on performance metrics, teamwork, and adhering to store policies and procedures. Attention to detail and adherence to processes are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Help achieve or surpass store sales targets by ensuring merchandise is properly stocked and available for customers.
• Meet compliance and execution goals via task dashboards, including timely completion of tasks such as product shipments, replenishment, store resets, and inventory processes.
• Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
• Promote an inclusive environment supporting teammates and guests alike.
• Engage in ongoing training, including brand and category education, to enhance skills and drive sales performance.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and standards diligently.
• Comply with the company's dress code guidelines.
• Execute merchandise resets, planograms, marketing setups, physical inventories, and shipment processing using Ulta Beauty’s technology and best practices.
• Ensure assigned areas are replenished, signed, faced, and that product testers are accessible.
• Maintain exceptional cleanliness standards throughout the store including sales floor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break areas.
• Safeguard company assets by adhering to loss prevention policies and providing excellent customer service.
• Carry out other operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Preferred minimum education: high school diploma.
• At least one year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with basic technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Additional Information

• Flexible schedule required, including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.
• Physical demands include continuous mobility, frequent standing, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, twisting, and regularly lifting or moving objects up to 25 lbs.
