Role Overview

The Task Associate is a vital operational role committed to supporting sales initiatives by ensuring the store is well-stocked, clean, and compliant with company standards. This position works closely with Merchandise and Operations Managers, emphasizing operational performance, collaboration, and adherence to processes to provide an outstanding guest experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Support the achievement or surpassing of retail sales targets by executing assigned tasks effectively and ensuring product availability.
• Meet execution and compliance objectives for operational tasks such as shipment processing, merchandise replenishment, inventory checks, and maintaining planograms and marketing displays.
• Maintain strong, consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Foster an inclusive atmosphere that supports team members and guests alike.
• Engage regularly in training programs focused on brand knowledge and sales skills to enhance professional growth.
• Follow all Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and dress code to uphold company standards.
• Perform product resets, inventory procedures, and utilize company technology for shipment processing.
• Ensure work areas are replenished, properly labeled, and aesthetically maintained, including tester availability.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in salesfloor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break areas.
• Safeguard company assets by observing loss prevention protocols and delivering exceptional guest service.
• Undertake additional operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Preferred high school diploma.
• At least one year of relevant experience or a comparable mix of education and practical experience.
• Comfortable with basic technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Capable of independent work and teamwork.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Working Conditions

• Constant mobility during shifts within the store premises.
• Frequent physical activities including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting.
• Regular lifting, carrying, or moving objects up to 25 pounds.
• Ongoing coordination and manipulation of items throughout the shift.
