Job description
Overview
The role is based in the Central Area District North of Al Masjid Al Nabawi, Madinah, Saudi Arabia, at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts. This full-time, on-site position involves non-management supervisory responsibilities in the Human Resources department.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track employee relations matters, supporting their resolution and follow-up activities.
- Assist management and leadership in addressing and solving human resources-related concerns and issues.
- Oversee hiring and recruitment processes ensuring adherence to all applicable local, state, and federal laws alongside company policies and standards.
- Communicate updates and inform HR management regarding any employee relations matters.
- Respond openly to inquiries, requests, and concerns from both employees and managers about HR programs, policies, and guidelines.
- Distribute relevant information to employees concerning employer-employee interactions, company activities, and personnel policies.
- Ensure all employee documentation, including interview records and I-9 forms, is kept accurate and updated.
- Assist with the organization, administration, and scheduling of annual employee surveys.
- Manage phone communications by answering calls and recording messages.
- Support management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, counseling, disciplinary actions, motivation, and coaching of employees.
- Comply with all company safety and security procedures, reporting any accidents, injuries, or unsafe situations to the manager promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary company information.
- Provide a professional and welcoming environment for guests, following company standards.
- Communicate professionally with others, including proper telephone etiquette.
- Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships within the team, supporting collaborative goals and listening attentively to employee concerns.
- Utilize computers and point-of-sale systems to access and input work-related information.
- Handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds as part of daily tasks without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least one year of relevant work experience in a related role.
- Minimum of one year in a supervisory capacity.
- No licenses or certifications are required for this position.
