Position Overview
We invite an experienced Store Manager to lead our Riccarton location on a fixed-term 12-month contract. This role holds comprehensive accountability for the store’s success and works in close cooperation with the retail leadership team to boost sales, nurture the team, and expand the Skechers brand across Australia and New Zealand.

Key Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in store management or senior leadership roles (such as ASM or Supervisor), with proven results in sales growth and team leadership
- Ability to operate independently with confidence in decision-making that benefits sales performance
- Committed to personal development, embracing feedback, and aiming for progression into flagship or higher leadership roles
- Skilled coaching capabilities with a passion for cultivating high-performing, engaged teams
- Strong operational aptitude ensuring excellent visual merchandising, stock management, and store presentation standards
Core Responsibilities
- Drive the overall sales performance of the store, focusing on sales, added value, units per transaction, and customer satisfaction
- Lead by example through direct customer engagement on the shop floor to increase sales
- Inform and educate customers about our renowned product range
- Foster an energetic and positive culture by mentoring and leading the team actively on the floor
- Manage daily operational duties, delegating as appropriate to streamline store efficiency
- Provide weekly updates on store performance, highlighting successes and areas for improvement
- Uphold strict standards for wage management, shrink control, visual merchandising execution, and inventory accuracy
- Maintain compliance with safety policies to ensure a secure work environment
