Role Overview
As a Store Manager, you will represent the brand to families, guiding them through all important moments of parenthood, from welcoming newborns to preparing children for their first school day. You will lead and develop a team that fosters a welcoming, inclusive environment and supports professional growth through education about product offerings and brand values.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, network, and develop a talent pipeline to ensure succession planning and ongoing team growth.
- Create and maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive workplace that encourages collaboration and rewards performance, enhancing employee engagement.
- Provide leadership and guidance to develop future leaders by delegating tasks and investing in team members' professional growth.
- Oversee customer experience on the sales floor through directing the Leader on Duty program and delivering excellent service focused on product knowledge.
- Implement company merchandising, operations, budget, and payroll directives effectively.
- Analyze and interpret Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive operational and sales results.
- Manage an integrated omnichannel retail experience by training teams to leverage available tools.
- Build strong customer loyalty through participation in company-sponsored programs.
- Minimize losses by enforcing consistent customer service standards, education, and operational controls.
Candidate Profile
- Positive, solution-driven attitude with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability managing multiple tasks and directing teams effectively.
- Comfortable using technology and computer applications like Outlook, Excel, and web navigation.
- Minimum of 3 years managing retail or related environments with direct supervisory experience.
- High school diploma required.
- Physical capability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform tasks involving bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, and ladder climbing.
- Availability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and closing shifts as scheduled.
