Role Overview
As a Full Time Supervisor, you will represent Carter's brand to growing families, greeting new parents and grandparents and assisting them through various stages—from newborn essentials to back-to-school needs. You will promote a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere that values talents and encourages continuous learning about product lines, benefits, and styles.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a product and brand specialist to guide families from preemie sizes up to 14 years old.
- Offer warm greetings and expert assistance regarding product features, styles, and benefits.
- Maintain a genuine customer-first attitude on the sales floor.
- Cultivate a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers alike.
- Consistently demonstrate service excellence and omni-channel experience standards, coaching team members toward success.
- Lead specific business areas with thorough planning and execution.
- Perform Leader on Duty duties: drive results and address customer concerns promptly with suitable resolutions.
- Use customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities and implement actions for enhanced results.
- Build customer loyalty via company-sponsored programs.
- Provide immediate constructive feedback to team members and escalate performance issues to the Store Manager.
- Recognize and celebrate outstanding performance through positive reinforcement.
- Support asset protection by upholding customer service, safety awareness, and operational controls.
Candidate Requirements
- A positive, solution-focused approach to challenges.
- Effective and professional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capability to multitask efficiently.
- Proficiency with technology, including Outlook, Excel, and internet navigation.
- Diverse skill set and experiences.
- A minimum of a high school diploma.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods and climb ladders as necessary.
- Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled, including at least two closing shifts weekly.
