Role Overview
We are seeking an engaging and collaborative Store Business Manager to lead our Alexandria store. This leadership role requires someone with proven success in retail management and the ability to cultivate a lively, positive, and safe store culture. You will inspire and coach your team to deliver excellent customer service, oversee store operations to maximize sales and profit while adhering to budgets, and champion workplace health and safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Inspire and lead a team of approximately 30 or more staff members to deliver exceptional in-store experiences.
- Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities with special emphasis on safety and performance.
- Manage store operations effectively to achieve sales and profit targets within budgeted expense levels.
- Demonstrate leadership in workplace health and safety, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
Candidate Profile
- Substantial previous experience in senior retail management roles leading sizable teams (minimum around 30 employees).
- Strong ability to motivate and lead teams effectively.
- Flexible availability that aligns with store operating hours.
- Comprehensive understanding of retail operations.
- Experience managing and meeting KPIs and financial budgets.
- Efficient time management and organizational skills.
- Proven leadership capabilities, especially in staff management and safety procedures.
