Stocking 3 Team Lead

Position Overview

This role involves aiding the leadership of overnight stocking teams and managing department operations. It includes responding to issues and queries as well as fostering associate development through instruction and training.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in directing and coordinating the completion of tasks aligned with priorities from the General Merchandise Coach and Store Management.
• Evaluate store department presentation and condition, noting areas that require improvement and implementing merchandising display updates as necessary.
• Maintain strong communication with team members, lead the daily Team Huddle at shift start to provide updates, set goals, and monitor productivity.
• Secure all high-value merchandise, ensure all doors and lockups are closed when not in use, and complete daily audits according to procedures.
• Coordinate with People Lead to review completed work schedules.
• Conduct tours with Coach and associates to identify training needs, contribute to associate development through teaching and feedback.
• Promote a safe, clean, and hazard-free workplace by following company policies, including completing safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are safely secured.
• Complete GTA/Workday assignments and support management activities.
• Work collaboratively with Coach and People Lead to guide performance management and growth discussions with associates and assist in recruitment and hiring.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
