Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and clear zoning of the produce area to ensure it is customer-ready at all times.
• Regularly rotate stock and remove expired products to uphold freshness and quality standards.
• Ensure that produce pricing and signage are accurate and follow proper methods for ordering, discounts, labeling, and markdowns.
• Adhere to food safety procedures, including sanitation, maintaining cold chain protocols, performing temperature checks, using thermometers correctly, and following sell-by and expiration dates.
• Stock and de-stock products as required, apply product protection measures, and arrange modular displays to keep shelves fully stocked.
• Comply with Health and Safety policies to preserve a secure and clean workplace.
• Exhibit flexibility by being available for diverse shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support store operations and ensure high-quality customer service.

Challenges in This Role

• Handle high task volumes efficiently during fast-paced shifts, including overnight hours, by planning to stay energized and focused.
• Physically demanding tasks, including prolonged standing, bending, and lifting items up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive stocking, zoning, and organizing duties with consistent attention to detail to maintain store standards.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.05.
