Stocker

Role Overview

The Stocker is tasked with maintaining store inventory and cleanliness, reporting directly to the Store Manager. Key duties include replenishing merchandise following designated layouts, ensuring cleanliness throughout the store and gas station areas, and assisting customers courteously.

Job Responsibilities

• Welcomes customers warmly upon entering the store and gas island areas.
• Restocks products in coolers, freezers, shelves, and displays according to the store’s layout standards (planogram).
• Keeps coolers and shelving units clean and orderly.
• Rotates inventory from the back stock to the sales floor adhering to the FIFO (First In, First Out) practice.
• Properly labels products in line with company pricing policies.
• Utilizes equipment such as ladders, gloves, and tools safely while performing job tasks.
• Maintains cleanliness and restocks supplies in restrooms, beverage and food service sections, and gasoline island.
• Cleans gas pumps, store windows, window sills, and organizes stock rooms.
• Performs any additional duties assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Physical ability to bend, stand, walk throughout the workday, and climb ladders when needed.
• Familiarity with handling cleaning chemicals safely.
• Capability to frequently lift items weighing 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
