Role Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain innovative software solutions that prioritize customer needs, delivering high performance, security, and robustness.
• Independently deploy substantial features and improvements, collaborating on larger team projects as needed.
• Address complex technical challenges within the team’s scope.
• Translate strategic business requirements into effective software designs and communicate these to team developers.
• Conduct code, feature, technology, architecture, and design reviews, establishing and upholding code quality and testing standards.
• Lead the technical direction, architectural strategy, and roadmap for the team.
• Mentor junior engineers to support their technical growth and promote their independent contributions.
• Serve as the technical lead for your pod or team, managing major initiatives.
• Engage with business and technical leadership to develop strategies that enhance revenue and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of professional programming experience.
• Strong ability to exercise discretion and autonomous judgment in daily tasks.
• Preferred experience scaling products from initial launch through substantial growth phases.
• Familiarity with the technology stack including Python, Django, React, MongoDB, AWS, and GoLang is advantageous.
• Capability to excel in ambiguous environments by identifying impactful opportunities and independently driving them forward.
• Deep passion for resolving real customer challenges.
• Experience building scalable distributed systems.
• Background in creating essential platform components that expedite product scalability.
• Bonus: Experience with marketplace platforms.
