About Stripe

Stripe acts as a financial infrastructure platform supporting businesses worldwide—from global enterprises to ambitious startups—in processing payments, expanding revenues, and accelerating new ventures online. The company aims to boost the global internet economy and offers an exceptional opportunity to impact the world economy.

About the Team

The Stripe Issuing team empowers users including fintechs, enterprises, and Stripe itself to easily establish and manage card programs via powerful APIs and well-designed UIs. The team develops the infrastructure, user interactions, and partnerships critical for managing card lifecycles and enabling seamless funds flow, supporting numerous sectors such as Buy Now Pay Later, vertical SaaS, marketplaces, expense management, fleet, travel, and more internationally.

Role Overview

The EMEA Staff Product Manager for Stripe Issuing will spearhead product development for cutting-edge card issuance solutions tailored to EMEA users. Responsibilities include designing intuitive APIs and interfaces, collaborating closely with global clients to grow their card initiatives, and managing a scalable and compliant product experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Stripe Issuing efforts across the UK and European markets.
  • Define product direction and strategy to assist users in managing their card programs.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to launch new Stripe Issuing products tailored for the UK and Europe.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams (design, legal, risk, compliance, engineering) early in development to create user-friendly and effective product plans.
  • Oversee the roadmap and partner with product marketing to drive go-to-market strategies for EMEA Stripe Issuing.
  • Gather and represent user feedback to influence product and API design decisions.
  • Ensure product scalability and high performance.

Candidate Profile

  • Possesses at least eight years of product management experience.
  • Has in-depth expertise in financial products, focusing on card issuing, financial systems, and card networks.
  • Demonstrates experience scaling products in close cooperation with go-to-market teams.
  • Experienced in building platform and API-based products.
  • Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at articulating customer challenges precisely.
  • User-centric mindset committed to designing outstanding experiences.

Work Environment

Employees assigned to offices are generally expected to be onsite at least 50% of the time monthly. Specific expectations may vary based on team or location, with some roles requiring full-time office presence. This hybrid approach facilitates in-person collaboration while offering workplace flexibility.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position in London ranges between £120,000 and £180,000 annually, subject to adjustment for other locations. For sales positions, the range reflects On-Target Earnings including base and bonuses. Final salary depends on experience, skills, and location. Additional compensation might include equity, bonuses, retirement plans, health coverage, and wellness stipends, with details varying by candidate location.

Equal Opportunity

Stripe values individuals with passion, resilience, and integrity, encouraging applicants even if experience doesn't perfectly align with the description. The company embraces diverse perspectives, critical thinking, and openness to challenging assumptions.
