Role Overview

The Solution Engineer will be embedded within Personio's Go to Market team, reporting to the Manager of International Solutions Engineering. Based ideally in Dublin, Amsterdam, or London, this role focuses on supporting the UKI & Benelux sales teams in acquiring customers and advancing business growth through technical expertise and collaboration across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main technical liaison for the sales team engaging medium-sized business clients in the UK and Benelux regions.
• Partner with account executives to identify and validate technical requirements, product applications, and solution boundaries for sales opportunities.
• Maintain deep technical knowledge of Personio’s product suite, acting as the first technical contact for sales personnel and prospects.
• Assist in preparing commercial proposals and executive-level presentations, including analyzing business value with ROI and TCO assessments.
• Support additional markets and regions as necessary.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites, expected at 10-20% of working time.

Required Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of experience in Solution Engineering or closely related roles.
• Strong technical foundation with knowledge of SaaS platforms, IT infrastructure, security protocols, and technology stacks.
• A customer-focused and commercially motivated mindset.
• Analytical thinker who bases actions on data, adjusting effort according to business and customer needs.
• Familiarity with security and compliance standards, such as ISO27k.
• Excellent communication skills with clarity and structure suitable for dynamic environments.
• Fluent professional English proficiency is mandatory; Dutch language skills are advantageous.

Additional Information
