Job Purpose

The Solution Architect will oversee and define the technical and application architecture of enterprise solutions, ensuring that business requirements are transformed into scalable, secure, and practical architecture designs spanning applications, integrations, cloud, data flows, and enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive application architectures for enterprise platforms, SaaS, cloud services, and custom applications ensuring maintainability and scalability.
• Establish and enforce architecture standards, modular design patterns, and best practices for application development and deployment.
• Translate business needs into technical designs, evaluating solution options for risks, cost-effectiveness, and feasibility.
• Promote incorporation of AI, machine learning, automation, and generative AI in enterprise applications while adhering to responsible AI principles and security requirements.
• Lead modernization efforts including legacy application rationalization, cloud adoption, refactoring, and consolidation initiatives.
• Architect solutions considering infrastructure, hosting, security controls, disaster recovery, compliance, and operational support necessities.
• Guide cloud and platform adoption aligning with business and technical goals, collaborating with DevOps, infrastructure, and engineering teams.
• Coordinate with cross-domain architects to assure cohesive application integration with data, infrastructure, security, and operational landscapes.
• Implement architecture governance by preparing documentation, performing design reviews, managing technical risks, and ensuring compliance with standards.
• Offer mentorship, lead architectural reviews, and collaborate with stakeholders to align technical strategies with business objectives.
• Maintain comprehensive architecture documentation and conduct knowledge sharing to build team capabilities.

Experience and Skills

• Over 10 years of experience in application development and technology delivery roles with at least 5 years focused on application or enterprise-wide architecture.
• Proven track record in designing and deploying large-scale enterprise solutions including custom, SaaS, and cloud applications.
• Strong familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) encompassing hosting, deployment, security, and scalability.
• Experience collaborating with Architecture Review Boards and enterprise architecture teams.
• Expertise in application modernization, cloud adoption, reducing technical debt, and legacy system rationalization.
• Technical skills spanning API-first architecture, service design, AI integration, DevOps (CI/CD, automation), observability, security by design, and infrastructure design.
• Industries such as retail, ecommerce, hospitality, and supply chain are highly desirable background.
