Candidate Assessment & Hiring Quality
- Conduct structured first-level candidate screening ensuring candidates meet key technical and product criteria before progressing.
- Understand technology terminology, architectures, development methodologies, and common skill requirements to properly evaluate candidates.
- Identify any career inconsistencies, gaps, frequent job changes, or other potential hiring risks.
- Work alongside technical interviewers to enhance candidate quality and increase interview-to-selection conversion rates.
- Maintain a high standard for candidate quality while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Stakeholder & Hiring Manager Partnership
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers and senior technology/product stakeholders throughout recruitment.
- Provide ongoing updates about candidate pipelines, market talent availability, candidate quality, recruitment challenges, and time-to-fill metrics.
- Challenge and clarify ambiguous or unrealistic hiring requirements, distinguishing mandatory from desirable skills.
- Advocate alternative sourcing strategies when suitable talent is difficult to source.
- Establish strong partnerships with hiring managers, functioning as a talent partner rather than merely a recruitment coordinator.
Recruitment Execution
- Manage interview scheduling and maintain clear communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Coordinate feedback collection and ensure timely progression of candidates through interview steps.
