Overview

The Shift Supervisor ensures smooth retail operations while driving sales targets and maintaining exceptional customer service standards within the store concept. This role involves monitoring stock, enforcing retail policies, supporting marketing initiatives, and leading the team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead sales efforts to meet and exceed set budgets for the retail concept.
• Analyze product performance, pinpoint successful and underperforming items, and provide actionable feedback.
• Ensure strict compliance with retail standard operating procedures, hygiene, and omni-channel protocols.
• Oversee marketing promotions implementation and relay feedback for improvement.
• Work closely with stakeholders to maintain optimal stock levels and execute strategies for fast and slow-moving products.
• Monitor and uphold exceptional customer service standards, promptly addressing customer concerns and complaints.
• Support and mentor team members, allocate tasks, and maintain staffing schedules.
• Execute planogram layouts and visual merchandising guidelines accurately.
• Perform competitive analysis by visiting competitors and gathering relevant market information.
• Manage inventory processes including perpetual inventory, stock returns, and damage control.

Additional Details

• Use tools like Wooqer and Basecamp to manage checklists and action items.
• Ensure all stock items have correct barcodes, price tags, and security tags.
• Monitor expired or near expiry stock clearance as per company guidelines.
• Participate in staff training covering product knowledge, merchandising, and stock management.
