SAP Project Manager / Solution Architect

Overview

Müller's Solutions seeks a seasoned SAP Project Manager / Solution Architect to direct and supervise cloud transformation initiatives involving SAP. The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of SAP architecture and a solid track record managing SAP cloud implementations or migrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive SAP cloud deployments, migrations, and transformation projects from start to finish.
• Establish and maintain the SAP solution architecture ensuring it aligns with both business needs and technical specifications.
• Oversee all aspects of project management including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, risk assessment, and delivery oversight.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders encompassing business units, technical staff, SAP consultants, and external vendors.
• Design SAP cloud solutions that are scalable, secure, and compliant with SAP best practices.
• Provide ongoing technical leadership and guidance throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP systems and other enterprise or cloud platforms.
• Identify potential technical risks or dependencies and implement mitigation strategies.
• Work alongside SAP and cloud technology teams to facilitate smooth execution and successful launch.
• Maintain thorough project documentation, architectural blueprints, and uphold technical standards.
• Assist in presales by contributing to solution designs, project estimates, and client presentations as needed.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience with SAP, emphasizing roles in implementation or transformation projects.
• Proven capabilities as an SAP Project Manager, Solution Architect, or a hybrid position combining both roles.
• Extensive familiarity with SAP Cloud solutions and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA Cloud is essential; knowledge of SAP BTP is preferred.
• Strong grasp of SAP architectural design, integration methods, security protocols, and cloud technologies.
• Demonstrated experience overseeing complex SAP projects throughout all phases from planning through rollout.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and client relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership prowess.

Mandatory Certification

• Holding a valid SAP Cloud certification is compulsory.
• The certification should preferably relate to SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP BTP, or SAP Cloud Architecture.
• Applicants must be able to provide official certification documentation or certificate numbers as verification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in SAP Activate methodology.
• PMP or PRINCE2 project management certification.
• TOGAF or another recognized enterprise architecture certification.
• Experience working with SAP BTP platform, integrations, API management, and cloud security aspects.
• Exposure to large-scale SAP transformational programs.
