Technical Project Manager

Job Overview

The Technical Project Manager is tasked with overseeing technology-focused projects from start to finish, ensuring completion on schedule, within financial limits, and in alignment with defined objectives. This role requires effective collaboration between technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.

Primary Duties

• Manage all phases of project management including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
• Create detailed project plans, timelines, allocate resources, and prepare budgets.
• Coordinate between development, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and quality assurance teams.
• Continuously track project progress, anticipate and address risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Measure project KPIs and regularly update stakeholders and senior management.
• Collect, analyze, and document both business and technical requirements for projects.
• Ensure final project outputs align with quality standards and meet business goals.
• Manage external vendors, suppliers, and partners as needed.
• Lead meetings, document decisions, and ensure actions are followed up.
• Maintain compliance with project governance frameworks and use Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies appropriately.
• Facilitate change management to support smooth transition and adoption of project results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Between 3 to 5 years experience managing technical projects, IT initiatives, or digital transformations.
• Good grasp of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proven experience working with diverse technical and business teams across functions.
• Proficiency in project management software like Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project or equivalents.
• Strong analytical, organizational, stakeholder handling skills with excellent communication in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
