Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot robust software solutions to address complex business needs.
• Write secure, efficient production code while maintaining essential services and algorithms.
• Create architecture and design documentation for sophisticated application systems.
• Develop comprehensive full-stack features encompassing backend services and user interfaces that deliver end-to-end business impact.
• Implement and integrate large language model (LLM) and generative AI functionalities such as summarization, copilot features, retrieval-augmented generation, and workflow orchestration into products.
• Develop and maintain IoT integrations including data telemetry ingestion, event processing, device health monitoring, and system connectivity for smart building and workplace environments.
• Analyze extensive and varied datasets applying statistical and machine learning techniques and produce relevant data visualizations and reports.
• Identify underlying issues and systemic patterns in data, logs, and system behavior to initiate improvements proactively.
• Engage in engineering communities of practice and technology exploration events.
• Foster a positive team culture emphasizing diversity, inclusion, opportunity, and respect.

Required Qualifications and Expertise

• Formal education or certification in software engineering with over five years of practical experience.
• Strong capabilities in system design, application development, and ensuring operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, especially for AI/ML integration purposes.
• Experience researching and analyzing datasets using various statistical and machine learning methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models and implementing generative AI technologies.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and Hugging Face libraries.
• Experience working with distributed systems and cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
• Expert knowledge in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and relational and NoSQL database systems.
• Practical use of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and drive continuous process enhancements.
• In-depth understanding of IoT system architectures, communication protocols, device management approaches, and security best practices.
• Experience with smart building systems or property management platforms and implementing IoT solutions in commercial or residential contexts.
• Proven record of delivering scalable, reliable, and secure IoT-enabled products involving cloud connectivity and edge computing.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge of modern front-end technologies such as React, Angular, TypeScript, or other contemporary UI frameworks.
• Exposure to cloud-native development models including event-driven architectures, data streaming, and system observability.
• Familiarity with Apache Spark, distributed computing techniques, and platforms like Databricks.
