Azure Machine Learning Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Azure Machine Learning Engineer with 6 to 12 years of industry experience, based in Chennai or Delhi. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable AI and machine learning solutions on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and deploy machine learning models within the Azure environment.
• Construct comprehensive ML pipelines using Azure Machine Learning services.
• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and develop training workflows.
• Adopt MLOps best practices for deploying, monitoring, and retraining models efficiently.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists and business units to translate requirements into AI solutions.
• Manage AI/ML model deployments leveraging Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Integrate ML models with enterprise applications and APIs ensuring smooth functionality.
• Ensure continuous monitoring of model performance and optimize for scalability, model accuracy, and cost.
• Maintain security, governance, and uphold Responsible AI principles.

Mandatory Expertise

• Proficiency with Azure Machine Learning platform and tools.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• In-depth understanding of machine learning algorithms.
• Familiarity with SQL for data querying.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks.
• Hands-on knowledge of MLOps methodologies.
• Version control and CI/CD using Git.
• Expertise in Azure Storage solutions such as Blob Storage and Data Lake.
• Ability to work with REST APIs.
• Utilization of Scikit-learn, Pandas, and NumPy for data science workflows.
• Competence in model deployment and operational monitoring.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure OpenAI services and Generative AI technologies.
• Working knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT, Llama, Claude.
• Familiarity with LangChain, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture, and prompt engineering.
• Exposure to Azure AI Foundry platform.
• Skills in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Experience with big data processing tools such as Spark or PySpark.
