Role Summary and Responsibilities

• Collaborate within cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and data units to continuously discover and validate customer and business needs and challenges to drive impactful solutions.
• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end software solutions targeting your business domain, delivering incremental value aligning with established engineering standards.
• Manage the scalability and complexity of services, taking ownership throughout the entire software development lifecycle while driving innovation.
• Champion the enhancement and optimization of team practices to foster self-organization and continuous improvement.
• Critically evaluate and simplify technological systems, processes, and solutions within the organization.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Strong empathy with excellent relationship-building ability.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Solid understanding of lean and agile methodologies including their principles and practices.
• Minimum of 3 years professional software engineering experience, ideally in an Extreme Programming environment utilizing TDD, pair programming, simple design, and continuous refactoring.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as .NET, Golang, and C#.
• Experience in automated end-to-end testing ensuring high software quality.
• Background in designing and working with distributed system architectures including microservices, event-driven, and RESTful services.
• Familiarity with both relational and non-relational databases.
• Exposure to cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Experience adopting and improving Trunk Based Development practices combined with Continuous Delivery.
