Role Overview

We seek a Barista to enhance our grocery service tMart, the region's pioneering cloud store concept delivering groceries swiftly at hypermarket pricing, currently available across multiple Middle Eastern countries.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare all coffee, beverages, and food items in strict adherence to standardized recipes, Barista Workbook, and food preparation guidelines.
• Identify all ingredients and proficiently execute every recipe.
• Consistently follow recipe cards to ensure product quality.
• Maintain speed and service quality standards at all times.
• Efficiently prepare and deliver customer orders meeting set criteria.
• Correctly label and store products in appropriate conditions.
• Apply FIFO (First-In-First-Out) inventory management to ensure freshness, rotating stock so older foods and drinks are prioritized.
• Handle out-of-date items properly according to policy.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in fridges, freezers, and storage areas.
• Receive and inspect deliveries thoroughly.
• Keep workstation clean and ensure temperature checks comply with food safety requirements.
• Arrange displays in accordance with planograms and standards manuals.
• Ensure product availability consistent with range parameters.
• Prepare drinks and food in line with Everyday Coffee standards and document temperatures.

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience as a barista.
• Highly detail-oriented, well-structured with strong prioritization skills, focusing on delivering actionable solutions.
• Possesses strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills capable of inspiring various teams and stakeholders.
• Comfortable engaging with senior executives and managing diverse stakeholder expectations.
• Enthusiastic about learning new skills on the job and adapting to evolving challenges.
• Excellent analytical aptitude and communication fluency, with hands-on experience using various tools.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills are a significant advantage.
