Role Overview
As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will engage end-to-end in the software development lifecycle delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions. Collaboration with peers and advocating software quality are fundamental aspects of your role. Your work will involve technologies including Go, Java, Node.js, TypeScript, and React, with additional value placed on familiarity with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform project requirements into completed deliverables aligned with business objectives.
- Drive improvements in system design and architecture by identifying and resolving potential issues proactively.
- Promote and contribute to engineering best practices organization-wide.
- Encourage teamwork through knowledge sharing and mutual support.
- Lead feature/component development through design, implementation, and deployment with minimal oversight.
- Foresee and navigate development roadblocks ensuring timely task completion.
- Mentor junior engineers on coding quality, architectural insight, and problem-solving techniques.
- Perform code reviews and participate in hiring processes to build a skilled engineering team.
- Independently research and address technical challenges prior to seeking help.
- Participate in architectural discussions suggesting maintainability-focused solutions.
Technical Skills & Expertise
- Proficient in at least one backend programming language among Go, Java, or Node.js to design and implement scalable services.
- Strong skills in React and TypeScript for building responsive and effective user interface components.
- Knowledge and application of software design patterns and principles for robust full stack systems.
- Understanding of potential performance bottlenecks and implementing improvements to enhance system reliability.
- Bonus: Exposure or eagerness to learn Kubernetes and Terraform/IaC for cloud infrastructure management.
Experience & Qualifications
- Solid foundation in engineering principles and practical experience across the software development lifecycle.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively and communicate technical information clearly.
