About the Role

This full-time Shift Manager position is at a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee in High Point, NC. This role involves leadership responsibilities during shifts to ensure excellent quality, service, and cleanliness in the restaurant environment. Note that the franchisee is the sole employer and responsible for all employment matters.

Job Overview

The Shift Manager supervises and guides crew members and other managers to maintain a fast, friendly, and accurate customer experience. Duties include shift planning, performance monitoring, adherence to McDonald’s standards, as well as ensuring safety, security, and profitability. Shift Managers collaborate with incoming managers to prepare for smooth transitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure food safety compliance throughout the shift.
• Maintain effective internal communication among team members.
• Manage inventory and daily maintenance tasks.
• Oversee crew management, scheduling, and training.
• Guarantee quality food production and exceptional customer service.
• Ensure safety and security standards are met at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous leadership experience preferred, especially in restaurant, retail, or hospitality sectors.
• Positive attitude, team player mindset, and ability to adapt to a high-paced environment.
• Flexibility with scheduling and passion for delivering great service.
• Must be at least 18 years old to qualify for management.
• Prior experience as a McDonald's Shift Leader is required.
