Shift Manager

About the Role

This Shift Manager position is at a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee, distinct from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee manages all employment-related duties such as hiring, scheduling, and discipline. McDonald’s USA does not influence any employment decisions or have access to application information.

As a Shift Manager, you will oversee shift operations, ensuring customers receive timely, friendly service and that quality and cleanliness standards are upheld. The role involves supervising crew and fellow managers, planning daily operations, monitoring safety and profitability, and coordinating smoothly with incoming shift leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure food safety compliance
• Maintain effective internal communication channels

Candidate Requirements

• Previous leadership experience preferred, particularly in restaurant, retail, or hospitality sectors
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and flexibility with scheduling
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum age of 18 years to qualify for a managerial role at corporate restaurants
