This opportunity is with a restaurant under an independently owned and operated franchisee licensed to use McDonald's branding and products. The franchisee, not McDonald's USA, is the employer responsible for all hiring, supervision, discipline, staffing, and scheduling. Employment decisions and applications are handled solely by the franchisee.
Role Summary
The General Manager position involves leading a high-volume restaurant to ensure profitability and adherence to McDonald's stringent standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This leadership role requires collaboration with a senior leader to set targets and develop actionable plans to achieve business goals.
Team and Leadership
The General Manager directs a group of Department Managers, supporting them to establish their own objectives, monitoring progress, and providing coaching to enhance departmental performance. This collective improvement drives overall restaurant success. The General Manager is also tasked with recruiting and nurturing Department and Shift Managers to build a capable leadership team for sustained growth.
Candidate Profile
Preferred applicants will possess prior experience as a General Manager at busy restaurant locations, ideally within quick service, hospitality, or retail sectors. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify for a managerial role.
