General Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated General Manager to lead a high-volume quick service restaurant in Hamel, MN. As part of the management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations to ensure profitability and uphold McDonald's standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. You will work closely with your leader to set goals and develop strategies to meet them, while managing and coaching Department Managers to enhance their department performance and the overall restaurant success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the restaurant's operational and financial performance to maintain profitability.
• Ensure compliance with McDonald's critical standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Lead, coach, and support Department and Shift Managers to achieve departmental goals.
• Oversee recruitment and development of managerial staff to build a capable leadership team.
• Improve team performance by providing guidance and follow-up on progress.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in restaurant or customer service roles preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Previous experience as a General Manager in a high-volume, quick service restaurant or related hospitality/retail environment is highly desirable.
• Must be at least 18 years old to serve as a manager.
