This opportunity is with an independently owned and operated restaurant franchise licensed to use McDonald's branding and products. The franchisee, a separate entity from McDonald's USA, manages all employment-related matters including hiring, discipline, supervision, and scheduling. Job Responsibilities
The General Manager is tasked with overseeing a profitable restaurant operation, ensuring adherence to McDonald's high standards for quality, service, and cleanliness. Collaborating with leadership, the GM establishes restaurant goals and devises strategies to achieve them.
Leading a team of Department Managers, the General Manager supports setting departmental objectives, tracks progress, and provides coaching to enhance performance, thus driving restaurant success. Additionally, the GM may be responsible for recruiting and developing managerial staff to build a strong future leadership team.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a General Manager managing high-volume locations is preferred.
- Background in quick service restaurants is highly desirable, though hospitality or retail experience is also considered valuable.
- Candidates must be 18 years or older to serve as a manager in this franchise-operated restaurant.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary up to $65,000 per year depending on experience.
