About the Role
This opportunity is with an independently owned and operated McDonald's franchise located in Alexander City, AL. Although affiliated with McDonald's brand and trademarks, this franchise operates separately from McDonald's USA and handles all employment decisions independently.
Compensation is competitive within a family-run business environment, starting at a minimum annual salary of $65,000 with potential monthly bonuses. Candidates with prior McDonald's experience are preferred.
Job Overview
The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring the restaurant operates profitably while upholding McDonald's strict standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This position entails setting and executing goals to drive business success through leadership of a team of Department Managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Department Managers, supporting them in establishing and meeting departmental goals.
- Provide coaching and guidance to enhance department performance and overall restaurant success.
- Manage the hiring and development of Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team.
- Collaborate with leadership to create strategies that achieve restaurant objectives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Prior experience as a General Manager at high-volume quick service restaurant locations is highly desirable.
- Backgrounds in hospitality or retail are also considered valuable.
- Must be at least 18 years old to assume a managerial role in corporate-owned McDonald's restaurants.
