Job Overview
This role is based at a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald’s branding and products. Note that the franchisee, not McDonald’s USA, is the direct employer and responsible for all employment decisions including hiring, discipline, supervision, and scheduling.
The General Manager leads the restaurant towards profitability while ensuring adherence to McDonald’s stringent standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This leadership role involves collaborating with upper management to set strategic goals and crafting plans to achieve them.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Department Managers by setting targets, monitoring progress, and coaching to enhance department performance.
- Hire, train, and develop Department and Shift Managers to secure a competent leadership team for future success.
- Ensure the restaurant consistently meets high customer service standards and operational excellence.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Prior experience as a General Manager, especially within high-volume quick service restaurants, is strongly preferred.
- Background in hospitality or retail sectors can be considered.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old to qualify for a managerial position.
Compensation and Benefits
Annual salary ranges from $55,000 to $68,000.
