This position is with a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald's branding and menu items. Note that the franchisee is a separate legal entity from McDonald's USA; all employment decisions including hiring, firing, scheduling, and discipline are handled solely by the franchisee. McDonald's USA does not participate in or oversee any employment matters at this location.

Job Overview

As a Shift Manager, you will lead restaurant shifts to ensure an outstanding customer experience characterized by speed, accuracy, and friendliness. You will provide guidance and oversight to crew members and fellow managers to maintain high standards in quality, service, and cleanliness throughout your shift. The role includes shift planning, monitoring performance, enforcing safety and security protocols, and supporting profitability targets.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure food safety standards are consistently met
• Facilitate internal communications during shifts
• Manage inventory control effectively
• Oversee daily cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Supervise and manage crew performance and conduct
• Maintain quality in food production processes
• Deliver exceptional customer service to every guest
• Ensure safety and security policies are enforced
• Create and manage work schedules
• Conduct training sessions for crew and new managers

Candidate Requirements

• Preferred prior leadership experience in restaurants, retail, or hospitality environments
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability to meet scheduling needs
• Must be at least 18 years of age
