Job Overview
This role is at a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald's branding and products. Employment is managed solely by this franchisee, not McDonald's USA, which has no involvement in staffing or employment decisions.
About the Role
The General Manager leads the restaurant towards profitability, ensuring compliance with McDonald's high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Collaborating with leaders to set business objectives and devising strategies to meet these goals are key responsibilities. The role requires managing and mentoring Assistant and Shift Managers, helping them set departmental goals, tracking their progress, and improving overall restaurant performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations to achieve restaurant profitability.
- Maintain critical standards for food quality, customer service, and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with leadership to define and implement restaurant goals.
- Lead and support a team of Assistant and Shift Managers, coaching them for departmental success.
- Recruit, hire, and develop management staff to ensure a strong leadership team.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a General Manager, preferably in high-volume locations.
- Strong preference for backgrounds in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail.
- Must be at least 18 years old to qualify for the managerial role.
