Senior Vineyard Operator

About the Role

Established in 1967 as Margaret River’s founding wine estate, Vasse Felix invites a Senior Vineyard Operator to join its committed Viticultural Team. The estate manages four excellent vineyard sites across the region covering 300 hectares, with varieties carefully matched to each site and farmed via traditional, organic, and sustainable methods. This opportunity is based at the Wilyabrup Vineyard, which includes 50 hectares of premium and Icon quality vines.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support all vineyard operations efficiently.
• Work towards enhancing both quality and yields while controlling costs.
• Help sustain and advance environmentally responsible vineyard practices without sacrificing fruit quality.
• Provide constructive input to foster continuous improvement within the team.
• Operate and service vineyard machinery such as mechanical pruners, sprayers, and harvesting equipment.
• Implement pest and disease management strategies following industry best practices.
• Assist with vineyard-related development, expansion, and redevelopment projects.
• Ensure a safe and productive work environment at all times.
