Maintenance and Vineyard Hand

About the Role

Huia, a boutique Marlborough winery known for crafting distinctive and elegant wines since 1997, is seeking a motivated and versatile individual to assist with maintenance duties and maintain the appearance of our Home Block vineyard. The role demands someone hands-on who enjoys working across multiple tasks and uses experience with vineyard, horticultural, or agricultural equipment.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply current skills and acquire new ones while collaborating with a dedicated small team producing some of Marlborough's finest wines. This is a permanent position generally involving 40 hours per week throughout much of the year, with potential for additional hours during peak seasons and reduced hours during winter.

• Experience or genuine interest in biodynamic and organic viticulture and/or winemaking processes.

• Adaptability and problem-solving skills to manage the dynamic and evolving nature of the wine industry.
