Position Overview
We seek an experienced Brazing Operator to become a vital member of our manufacturing team at FlaktGroup India Pvt Ltd located in Pune, Maharashtra. The role involves executing copper and silver brazing processes according to defined job specifications, ensuring all joints meet leak-proof and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out copper and silver brazing operations as per engineering guidelines and specifications.
- Interpret and understand technical engineering drawings related to tasks.
- Ensure all brazed joints are thoroughly leak-tested and satisfy quality requirements.
- Operate brazing machinery with strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain compliance with company quality and safety regulations at all times.
Required Skills and Experience
- Hands-on experience in brazing or related HVAC manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency in oxy-acetylene brazing techniques.
- Competence with measuring and testing equipment to verify work quality.
- Keen attention to detail with a focus on the highest quality standards.
Technical Expertise
- Knowledge of brazing processes including copper and silver brazing methods.
- Expertise in flame torch operation and gas pressure settings.
- Preparation of joints and selecting appropriate filler metals.
- Performing leak tests and conducting stringent quality inspections.
- Understanding HVAC/R piping brazing and temperature regulation.
- Handling oxy-acetylene setups safely and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ability to rework and repair brazed joints where necessary.
